I noticed on abbysguide there is a thread with a user "Borat" posting about a Toro 221qe. I saw one of his videos with the 221 throwing snow. Just curious if this is you and what RPMs you are set at in this video.
I set my 221 RPMs a tad higher and noticed the motor really throws the snow now. I ordered a tiny tach to set the RPMs the right way instead of guessing.

I bought this one. Does hours and tach functions. simple install. Wrap the wire around the spark plug wire and zip tie it. Then mount the unit on the equipment with provided screws or sticky tape. Zip tie it nice and neat and it will look good!

Or you can not mount it and just use it as a tool to tune other equipment.

I should do that with my 25 year old CCR2000. It seems like the engine is getting a little tired. Perhaps it's time to turn up the wick.

I'm no longer participating in this forum. I was banned for two weeks for speaking the truth. However, that truth ruffled the feathers of a sponsor who obviously reported me for having a negative impact on his sales.

Ive been checking out abbys guide too. Lots of useful info on there I never knew about it until recently. I found my Toro's max RPM so I will be setting it up soon. If we ever get anymore snow that is lol.
