Nitro motor? Keep adding the boost and fuel till it blows up then back of a bit on the new engine. Diesel engine I guess it is the same. Either way expensive.

I don't think OP's picture was a Cummins, though! The video shows how to blow one up good, though-hard to believe nobody got hurt from all the shrapnel coming off that truck.

The crank almost has enough throw that you can’t drill the oil holes in one shot. Don’t know why it needs boost.

Its a needle bearing cam. I think I read this was in a sprint car possibly. Running too much nitro in the mix or sprinkling in some hydrazine.
