I attribute this to a manual transmission and lack of ATF cooler hoses along with electric PS and lack of PS hoses, pump and rack.

Sometimes I can tell the make of the vehicle from a small piece of info like a tail light or section of a grill but just looking at a transaxle and piece of a starter I'm stumped. Starter looks Japanese, maybe Denso.

My saturn vue sub frame rusted completely out in the front due to a design flaw. But it is an AT V6.

Your saturn looks much nicer 👍

I attribute it to somebody who's taking care of their car and driven on a regular basis to keep the seals from drying out and that's what it appears that you have done. it's probably seen a car wash or two where they do an under the car spray. you did a nice job taking care of your car

My 20 year old 200k car (ok 24yr/256k) is definitely not dry. But it’s not from the PS nor ATF lines. I think the front main seal and valve cover gasket, although as a 5S-FE it might just be every engine sealing surface, as I think it just likes to leave its mark in this world (done the VC a couple of times, but it’s determined to not behave).
