Boiling toothbrush?

On our toothbrushes the brissles blue color fades and indicates when to chuck the brush. the brush is bad when the brissles have faded halfway down. Its an oral b electric toothbush

Be careful with peroxide its OK periodically but if you keep using peroxide on a wound the wound will never heal. The same principle could apply using it daily in the mouth. The wife was using peroxide when one of her ear ring holes got infected. In a couple weeks it was still fubared. She used alcohol on it and 2 days or so it was healed.

I knew a person who mangled up his leg on a motorcycle. For some strange reason he kept treating it with peroxide. It ultimately developed into cancer killing him.

I boil mine in motor oil.....

My dentist sends me home with a new toothbrush and a sample of toothpaste every six months when I have my teeth cleaned. Usually he includes some floss too.

New brush every 6mo. Haven't bought a new brush in about ten years with this set up.
