Blue Origin is waiting for launch window

The Jeff Bezos Blue Origin space ship is apparently waiting for a launch window. I haven't followed this too closely but apparently a launch towards Mars is imminent. The payload is two Nasa Mars orbiters.

So, looks like he's going to win the rocket measuring contest with Elon, assuming it succeeds

Interesting, good to see competition. I thought Elon had all of this on lock/monopolized.

The launch is now scheduled for 2:50 pm EST Wednesday.

Looks like the launch has been called off again allegedly due to intense solar storms.

Blue Origin launch window opens at 2:57 pm today.

They launched on Thursday. The propellant booster successfully landed on a ship at 9:23. Two satellites are on their way to Mars. Elon is kicking his Teddy Bear!

This competition is/will be fun to watch. These guys are something else. I'd probably be doing the same thing, among other things, if I had their wealth.
