Blood Pressure Machine Display

OMRON is the best. But the one that has the fewest bells and whistles. I have an OMRON BP 710 its a couple years old. It keeps track of past readings.

I'm not sure about the black background with the white numbers is the reason why I started this thread. I needed some 2nd opinions. I'm used to the dark gray numbers on the gold background. I'm surprised you guys like the white numbers. I go by and measure my Mom's blood pressure everyday and she says the current machine (Omron HEM-704C) squeezes her arm too much.

You could take it manually... It is not all too hard Merk. You could do it for sure. This way you won't have your moms arm squeezed with 200 plus mmhg of pressure to get a reading. Unless she runs higher than 160 systolic to begin with.

bbhero -- she runs a low diastolic all the time and it seems like the machine can't read her unless I turn the preset up to 200. Sometimes the machine can read her with a 170 preset but most of the time it displays an EE if I have the machine turned down to 170.

The black background looks slicker, but I personally would prefer the black numbers on the white background.

Hmmm... Still could do a manual BP. Just you would likely have to get a decent stethoscope to do it. Reason being that you'd be able to hear just how low her diastolic is.
