Alright then, for those of you who are feeling the need for a Sunday afternoon change of perspective, you've come to the right thread! As some of you probably know, Honda makes a capsaicin (one of the compounds that makes hot peppers hot) impregnated electrical tape. The intent, of course, is to create a barrier to discourage gnawing-obsessed rodents from destroying pricey wire bundles in cars (I assume the stuff works just as well in other makes...). Given that Honda charges over $14 for a small roll of the stuff, it had better work, and well! Musing on my keyboard that it would be interesting to taste test the stuff, a member on Toyota Nation pointed out that it had already been done. Boy had it. This girl put me and my vague intentions to shame. Credit where due: she calls herself "haterade" on substack. Pretty sure this is something you can't order "off the shelf" at your local pub!
