Walked by a Game Stop, was going to pick up some old used games for $5-8, but they didn't have it in stock, haven't used my Xbox in a while. They also had a line out the door to pay for items. Kinda strange, people holding stuff to pay for while they were outside the store. They only had 3 cashiers at the front, which was the max they could have.

I'm a sucker at this time of year. I live pretty conservatively all year long, but go after the things I've been craving...all year long...when this time of year comes, so long as it's at a stellar deal!

A Thule 17 ft^3 Sonic roof box for $264!!!!

Sony PSVR with two games for $250

A bunch of Bluray movies for kiddo for $4 each from BestBuy

Band of Brothers bluray for $10

Harry Potter bluray set for $27.50

Some cables and power packs for cheap

Fancy radar detector for a great price

Lowe's Saw Horse for $38.28

Storage rack from Lowe's for $180, after military discount, using 10% off gift cards I got a couple of months ago

A few other things

I have the driver and it is powerful on 1.5 AH batteries!

No expert but I believe the power is a function of the voltage and amp rating of the tool. The time the tool can operate is a function of the amp hour rating of the battery. Therefore, a 1.5 AH battery and a 5 AH battery will give the same results in terms of power to the tool but the 5AH battery will last much longer until it needs to be recharged.

This is 100% true; however, I've read that higher Ah batteries give better performance. I wonder if the higher Ah batteries are able to supply the rated amps, whereas maybe the lower-rated Ah batteries experience more of a voltage drop, even at full capacity.

that's because we didn't have a Black Friday ad.
There was "Black Friday all Week" ad, a 2 day sale that ran from 6a Thursday to 11:59:59 Friday night. and a Saturday only ad with Santa Bucks.
We were busier this morning(Saturday) than we were on Friday.

the "big deal" Tv's were on thursday (55" Element w/ built in Roku for $199) there was 1 Friday only TV, but I didn't see much of a rush for it.(65" Element Amazon Fire TV edition for $369 or somesuch..)

had one customer comment on how odd it was how many people's TV's seem to break just before thanksgiving...

the real Deals yesterday were from Cards against Humanity...

and yes, they really sold those items for those prices......

I bet it got cleared out! I wonder how's many wanna-very-BITOG'ers are out there. Near me, deals seem to be gobbled up way before I get there!

Felt sorry for Walmart so I picked up a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 5w30 in the cool Batman looking container for $27 CDN. That's it for 2018 unless Walmart or Canadian Tire put Quaker State on once more so I can use my last two rebates. Other than that, waiting of the 2019 Pennzoil and QS rebates to start again.

CREE 40w (eqv) dimmable 2700k LEDs. 32¢ each.
EcoSmart 60w (eqv) dimmable 2700k LED floods. 62¢ each.

27" 1080p Monitor. Finally found one I like to replace my Samsung CRT from 2001.
A pair of Jeans for 50% off. Ripped jeans is cool but not when you are balding and gaining weight in the early 40s, so yeah, need new ones.

I just got one 5L jug of Castrol 0w40 from Canadian Tire for $26.99. That's already a super low price but on top of that I got $6.59 worth of Canadian Tire money!

My wife bought a bunch of clothes from the kids from Old Navy for 50% off as well.

I originally did not want to go and planned to stay home to save money, but she said she was going to WM Friday morning so I felt guilty making her go alone.

Bought about $50 worth of movies. Zero self control.
