So whats the plan fellas? Have you planned out your shopping trips and deals that you want to snag.
I scoured bfads.net and have now figures out my plan:
Best Buy- Garmin $85 GPS and Philips 9" DVD player for $59
Then off to Modell's sports store for some outerwear- $10 hoodies
So where are you guys going?

Nowhere near anything retail....but that's me.

Black Friday proves that humans are idiots. People basically risk their lives just get a good deal.

In a previous life I worked retail. Black Friday weekend was horrible. I'm actually thrilled that I will spend Black Friday at the office.

Yup, go big or go home. Fighting over a $5 DVD that's normally $10 is ridiculous.

When electronics were bigger bucks, like a $1000 computer for $300, I used to go, but stopped around 2002-2003 when the proletariat started going. I had a system: 3am, then 2am, then 1am, which kept me 10th in line. It also helps that the mall I went to is a cement jungle that funnels icy cold wind down around the crowds.

If you go, bring a dunkin donuts styrofoam cup full of booze! Give it away to your "friends" in line.

If you like riots and lame deals, wal-mart is a contender. Imagine a well organized line lined up against the cement building and a mob just across the fire lane in the regular car parking lot. Mob cuts line when doors open.

All junk.

I used to, but my last foray on Black Friday(2009) ended horribly. Apparently everyone and their mother wanted to copy me and leave for Woodbury Commons(outlets). I left at 9PM, usually a 45 minute drive and they open at 12. I used to make it up there by 11 taking my time, grabbing coffee etc.

Not that time, bumper to bumper traffic for 6 hours! No exits between on ramp from 287 to 87 by Harimon. And by the time I did get up there, parking was at maximum capacity and wouldn't allow anyone in, had to drive 4 exits down and get bussed in via a school bus(this I did not do). I turned around and went home, signed onto Amazon and ordered all the presents and had them there by Tuesday lol.

So I do it online now. Though I'd like to experience it one more time but I honestly don't have it in me anymore.

Gonna sleep in and read about the next fatality/injury due to the crazy people. I'm also concerned about theft, its gotten really bad around our area.

I never shop on the day after Thanksgiving. Plus, I'm in the business of making other people happy on holidays, so I'll be working.

I might do as Gary Allen did - go to the mall and engage in social observation. Watch people trip over each other to purchase Chinese made trinkets on credit.

I will stay home, spend zero and remember that we are slaves to marketing, ads, and "retail therapy".

we have enough
we are enough
we do enough

I'll be on the road, long road trip to see the in-laws in Louisiana. should be in TN, AL or MS on friday.

'black friday' reminds me of a guy I used to work with, 1st time he heard the expression he goes:

"black friday? what, they already have Martin Luther King Day, that wasn't enough?"

he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer...
