I wrote a Firefox search toolbar function for this site. Download it here:

It's really simple. It just does a Google search with "site:www.bobistheoilguy.com" included.

Is it at all possible to search in a specific subforum (using google)?

I haven't figured out a good way to use Google to search a specific subforum.

You can't tell from a thread's URL which subforum it's from. And if you include the subforum name in quotes, you still get a lot of incorrect hits.

Any ideas out there?

How hard would it be to make this same plug-in for the Bing search provider? I find that I'm using Bing more often than Google lately. It doesn't replace google, but it does a fine job in it's own right.
