I have used 44K for years in my gas tank, but it is so very expensive. Now I just bought some B-12 Chemtool to try. No bad luck with the stuff, just pricey. Brian

I have used their Air Intake System Cleaner to clean the throttle body on my 94 Grand Am. No ill effects that I'm aware of. I got it from my local Honda dealer.

I went down to the Hundyi dealer and happen to see a bunch of open empty cans of their Transmission product by a car being serviced.I asked the parts manager about it he said they use it when they do a 15000 mile service. So there you have it the car dealers are going to additives I guess in hopes of getting better results from their Transmission fluid. I changed out my fluid to AMSOIL Synthetic fluid because I don't think I will have to add that stuff to a better product. The same thing goes on at the Nissan dealer with their oil change puting WYNN'S to make up for inferior oil. I am sorry but I do feel their is a difference.

There is a Advertisment that is suppose to mock a call in show repair DIY type show on am radio saturday morning. When people call in expecting help and dont want to go to a shop/The only thing i hear the host Bobby Lycas tell people what to do is to take it to a shop and have them use some BG product.
NEver have used the stuff but I dont like there adveritising.

I respect BG for the most part.

The BG44K fuel system is aggresive but it does it jobs well especially when used in conjunction with a FI service to get rid of the residual junk afterwards.

BG MOA seems to be interesting as well, I wish I had a UOA analysis to tell but for the most part its an add pack boost.

It did silence the M1 noise i heard on two otherwise GM engines. Perhaps it thickened it op? The stuff seems quite sticky from a lubricity stand point.

Someone should also comment on the validity of there Sequence IIIE oxidation test for which they heavily advertise.

This the one with the two oil pans after 24 hour sequence tests.

Thanks-

My mother in law takes her car (Corolla) to a dealership for oil changes where they are heavy into pushing BG products on their customers.

She'll take her car in just to get an oil change and I'll see a charge for BG MOA additve added on the ticket for roughly $8.00.Anyways she gets here oil changed every 3k and there was still varnish build up under the valve cover with only 33k on the car.

This brings up a interesting point. I never did much with my Briggs & Stratton engine on my mower.Used castrol GTX 10/30 oil for the first 5 years then switched to Castrol Syntec 10/30.I get a lot of use out of it in Fl with the grass. The last 6 mo. or so the engine smoked badly when starting. I just put about 1oz of Auto RX in the oil. Guess what no smoke the last 2 times when starting. My point is this site has given me a product that works. Does this mean BG makes a product that works at all or as well.We have a great site to give our results of our experiences but the important thing is what may work in a Honda Civic may not work as well in a LS 1.Guys like Terry gives the products credibility but you have to wonder if dealers useing BG or WYNN'S will not effect your warrenty.I look at it like vitamins for cars but finding the right ones for the right price is the key.A good solid base oil and like Geratol some Vitamins when the oil starts getting tired,so your engine gives you the same performance after 10000 miles with little or no side effects.
