Ouch.

Been putting off posting because I knew that when I went and got the bottle to see how to spell "Disaronno, The Amaretto Liqueur" I'd have to take a big ole pull (or 3).

I totally forgot about Mead, which can be quite excellent...and give you quite a headache later.
If you can get it, the stuff from Lindisfarne Meadery, on Holy Island, UK, is great. Made from an ancient recipe developed by the monks.

BTW Sipping our 7/14/03 Marionberry Liquor as I type this. It has gone through some changes the last year or two. Has gained some earthy fruity tones, alchioowl is schtell ther but caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan hardley shctstaste it.....does have almost a spicy peach pie flavor, yet cabernet superberry fruit flavor.......too bad the mason jar has maybe one shot left before the dregs.

I rented a house in 2004 and found a box of liqueurs in a cupboard.I think the previous tenant must of been selling this brand and there was every flavour possible.I worked my way through every bottle....and I'm pretty sure I was very impressed with each one.I don't think butterscotch is a good choice of flavour for liqueur,but I enjoyed drinking it.

Love going into a pub on a hot day and ordering a handle of cider....

Often refer to the recent craze of mild (expensive) mix concoctions such as "Mike's Hard Lemonade" "Segrams Ice",etc. as;

Drinks for the koolaid generation.

ketel one citroen, it's expensive but it's really smooth - you can drink it straight when its ice cold, no chaser, no mixer, just pure goodness.
