Without getting too specific, for my late-summer road trips... I'll probably have the AC on. Usually I can get it running so well that even having the fan on setting "1," sometimes 2 or 3 if it is a blazing hot day, will work. So I want to clean my condenser, huge thing in front of radiator.

I've hit it with degreasers which I do not know if it has done harm, same with old fashioned spraying with water. No visible debris or bugs.

Is there a best specialized cleaner spray you use or method to keep it as clean as possible? I welcome all answers.

And obviously, I cannot remove it..

Foaming coil cleaner.

I spray it on and let it dwell, and rinse it off with a garden hose sprayer on the jet setting...

Available local to many and less expensive than what I posted.

Home Depot has the stuff for household ACs, with the foaming agent. I’ve watched before and after pressures on a Freon gauge set and even if the foam drips off looking mostly clean, it made a difference in the pressures.

If you have no visible debris present, I would not use a cleaner. If it needs degreasing, chances are there is a slow leak present where the oily grease is.

Careful with the jet pressure a buddy blew some cooling fins out of his Ford radiator.
Gentle spray is safer
