What is the best injector cleaner currently available? I keep hearing that formulations have changed. Thefore I am now confused.

Just want the best and not some junk.

Appears the MSDS contents is whats changing. Apparently they don't have to list their ingredients anymore. Makes sense companies want to hide that from competitors.

Like the BITOG sticky for motor oil, best is somewhat objective. Its still a tie between the two with PEA additives. Techron complete fuel system cleaner and Red Line si-1 fuel system cleaner.

I like redline but the chevron techron concentrate is 1/3 the price on sale often so thats what I use.

Sorry to say, I have only seen it at Pepboys which is not available in my area.
BTW, I heard a story where Redline ruined a loder BMW's injectors as he used it too often. I do not believe it.

Chevron Techron Concentrate 20 oz bottle. About all thats ever been in my car's gas tank other than fuel. Best used last fillup before an oci, primarily during city driving. Lots of starts and stops allows cleaner to drip down injectors after shut down and clean.

Gumout Regane 'All-in-One'.....

Bottle good for 35 gallons.....so I get two uses ...out of one bottle....for my 14 gallon tank.

Being sold at my 'Big Lots' for $4.00. Defiantly...a best buy.

I ordered RL FI cleaner from Amazon . com. Watch for deals, I got a great deal and free shipping. I have plenty on hand so I don't know what the current deals are.

I tried every product mentioned in this thread and the RL is the best of the bunch. JMO

Anything with polyether amines (PEA), and Red Oil SI-1 appears to have the highest concentration of PEA than most of the others. Or just get the Valvoline Fuel System Cleaner at O'Reilly's, another PEA product, although technically Red Oil contains more.

Without commenting on the effectiveness of the Gumout products (Regane, etc.), I'll simply mention that their MSDSs these days offer basically no insight as to what's in their fuel "cleaners."
