Over the years i drove a number of vehicles home that i either picked up from customers or other shops that needed engine work and drove them to my shop the next day or whenever we had room. Well my driveway looks like an old oil slick i cleaned it up for hours using the stuff we used at the shop and it looks good but the stains are still very bad in back of my house. What can i use to clean the driveway it is cement and blacktop ??

Soap breaks down oil and why they spray it during oil spills. As nuts as this may sound, try Dawn dish detergent and brush it in with a broom, rag etc.
Its good for the "lite" stuff for sure, not sure how much oil we are talking about here. All I ever needed was dish soap.

Quick search revealed this

Leave some kitty litter on it for a few days then sweep it all off. That seems to do wonders for the Autozone parking lot.

TSP. It is cheap at home stores and great for this and other serious cleaning, like paint-prep.

we are talking about 20 or so years of cars and trucks leaking it looks bad it is just stains now but my wife wants them gone already..

Hands down Pour N Restore. It goes in as a thick liquid and dries as a powder which is then swept up.

They work well! I hit it with Simple Green first, let it sit a while, agitate it with a brush then a blast with the power washer. Done deal.

Dish soap and moderately stiff outdoor broom. Sometimes I grab the Walmart-brand carpet spray with a broom on that too. Once a year or-so, I might grab the spray bottle of Brake-Clean. That works well also.

I follow all these-up with a garden hose and attached gun.

Ammonia should technically work great since an alkaline mixing with an oil creates soap.

I've never had luck removing set in oil stains. It seems like you'll always see the ghost of it. The concrete acts like a sponge and just soaks it up.

Dawn dish soap will eat the driveway? What's in it?

The oil will. Dawn won't.

The dawn always removes oil for me as long as the oil has not started to eat the driveway
