I think John and the others have made some excellent suggestions.

My experiences and what you describe seem analgous: Fuel mixture too rich and coolant temp too low. I suspect fuel dilution is causing the oil to turn dark very quickly.

Too be sure of the cause, get with Terry and have the oil analyzed.

I think you did talk to me about oil extreme. Probably more than a year ago. I have gone thru a marriage and now a divorce since that email exchange, so make it at least 2 years ago.
