Hey guys,

I was just looking at a suitable replacement for BMW's MTF LT5 for my bmw m2's manual transmission. IIRC pentosin's FFL3 is the OEM fill and I was looking for a replacement since I am experiencing some knotchiness in my shifting and also wanted a potential fluid upgrade for hard track use. What I also know is that DCT fluid is recommended as a MTF LT5 replacement fluid and I was debating between these two fluids:

1) Motul Multi DCTF: https://www.motul.com/ca/en-US/products/multi-dctf
2) Redline DCTF: https://www.redlineoil.com/dctf-dual-clutch-transmission-fluid

Since I am very unfamiliar with oil specs and what would be better than the other I was hoping if you guys could enlighten me and break down these two fluids for me and help me decided or pick which would be the better fluid.

Thanks!

Thank you for your insight.

Another question is has anyone ever tried both and if so which one offers a smoother shifting experience and for longer not just the so called honey moon phase.
