What'd you all think of BMW's new ch-ch-changed diesel commercial? For some reason, it really clicked with me. I like the message, and the visuals. It was well done, and was probably my favorite auto commercial of the Super Bowl.

My least favorite was about the new Cruze. Not that the commercial wasn't well done, technically, and not that the Cruze is a bad car. To the contrary. But when the guy hit his "Facebook" button and the car read his latest Facebook post aloud, I said to my wife, "Really? Do we really have to have our cars reading us Facebook posts while we drive??"

I kinda liked the beetle one. I find it curious the Germans stepping up their marketing. VW,BMW,Mercedes, Audi all on TV a LOT lately.

Liked:
Bud Light Wild West
CarMax gas station
Audi "Release the Hounds"

Disliked:
GoDaddy.co commercial with Joan Rivers.

Didn't get to see all the commercials due to various interruptions.

VW took the prize with the kid in the Darth Vader get up...trying to use the force on everything...and finally "succeeding..." with dad's VW...priceless!

+1. The frustration on the kid was priceless. Another great VW ad.

From what I see every day, we need something to read traffic laws while people drive.

Honestly, most of the GM ones were kinda dumb. They didn't really stand out and were forgettable.

Chrysler's "Imported From Detroit" was cool, though I think the Eminem thing wasn't necessary.

1. VW Passat & Darth Vader
2. Chrysler 200 "Imported from Detroit"
3. VW Beetle
4. Cruze Eco with the old people who can't hear

+1 on that!
And for those driving gas hogs - your nauseatingly slow acceleration and then running 10+ mph under the speed limit isnt acceptable on our overburdened highways and penalizes MY commute time. I'm not targeting work trucks, but instead, those who chose to commute, alone, in vehicles the size and weight of the QEII. I apologize for treading OT.

I liked the Carmax gas station one. The Kia Optima one was a cool commercial, but I thought it was an Accord commercial until the very end.

You sound angry.

BTW, i bet some of these QE size cars belong to people who bought them new, now long retired and cannot afford (or want) anything more politically correct. However, I think I have seen examples of the "drivers/vheicles" of which you speak!

1. Chrysler "Imported from Detroit"
2. Bridgestone "Reply All"
3. Pepsi Max "Date scene"
4. CarMax "Gas station scene"
