I like the DeLorean DMC12, Aston Martin Vanquish, and a certain '58 Plymouth Belvedere. Sorry if that ain't the info you were looking for.

Best: Lincoln Continental 1961-1965; Ford Thunderbird 1961-1963, 1964-1966; Corvette Sting Ray 1963-1965; Mercedes 280SE coupe/convertible 1966-1970

Worst: Gosh, there are so many . . .
. . . just saw the new Chrysler Sebring sedan for the first time yesterday. What dragon bit off its tail?

Those who would like to have the memory of the AMC Gremlin erased from their brains, please form a line to my left.

And the Honda Element is reputed to be the box the Honda S2000 comes in.

There's a lot I like, so I can't really pick my favorite.

Here's a few of the worst IMO:

Scion xB, Toyota Echo, Toyota Yaris Liftback, Pontiac Aztec, VW EuroVan, Chevy Aveo Hatch, current Hyundai Accent 3-dr, current Subbie Impreza Wagon

There are others. There's a few on the list I woulnd't mind owning, but I don't know if I could get over the looks.

Best looking: Ferarri 318 / 328 GTS, 1980 - 1982 Corvette, 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo, 1986 Mercedes SL, 2007 Saturn Sky, ANYTHING from Aston Martin, BMW 635CSi, Ford GT, Infiniti G35 Coupe, Jaguar XJ-S Convertible. Gees, there's more but I'll stop.

Ugliest: Pretty much anything from AMC, Aztek, 90's Skylark, Suzuki X-90, Cadillac SRX, 1st generation Chevy Avalanche, any year Corsica, 1st generation Ford EXP, Honda Element, Honda Insight, 1st generation Tiburon, Oldsmobile Achieva, Scion xB, Toyota Echo

'79 Ford F150
'75 Trans Am
'69 Camaro Z28
'70 Olds 442
'68 Mustang fastback
'72 Monte Carlo
'70 Challenger
'69 GTO
'87 Grand National
I could do this all day.......

ooo yea forgot to add the pontiac solstice and saturn sky, love those cars to death, looks like something porche would come up with.

We're spoiled here in the US and Canada. We're surrounded by many, many decent looking, or outright attractive cars. We rarely, except perhaps in car magazine photos, get to see some of the true monsters, especially those that were squeezed from the bowels of eastern european industry. My personal “favorite ugly cars” are the line of horrifying beasts from Czechoslovakian Tatra. Google “Tatra” and see for yourself. Here's one of the very ugliest:

Form definitely follows function there....uck.

I was thinking more like, " form follows . . . orders from #@$%!"!

(Where, of course "#@$%" = that hot, fiery place where unacceptable, incorporeal entities reside on an extended, long-term basis. . .).

That is bad, indeed, and somehow after looking at Tatras I wound up at the ZIL website. They make mostly trucks now but still sell "high-class cars". This humerous paragraph was pulled from the website:

The representative 7-seater cars with V-eight cylinder engine, with cubic capacity of 7, 68 L, Power equal to 315 h.p., is making 190 km/h maximum.
The soft suspension is hiding the roughness of the road. Automatic 3-step transmission is conductive to tender starting and speeding up of the car. Multi-stage system of noise reduction, the effective sound isolation suppresses all the unwanted sounds in the car. The conditioning system consists of two climate systems with the fresh air intake, two heaters and the conditioner.
Everything in the salon is directed at the comfort and safety for the passengers and the driver.

Pretty ugly, by the way.

Good lord! Those are hideous! I think I'll take the 1975 Matador, please.

An Imola Red 2006 BMW M3 really caught my eye at a dealership, the Porsche 996 is still a beautiful automobile, the E class Mercedes is understated and beautiful and the Mercedes SL, while frighteningly close to the $100,000 limit is gorgeous. Ugly, the Subaru Triblinka, new Jetta, Beetle, and Element and that square Toyota thing.

Best: Audi RS4, E30 M3 lachsilber, E39 M5, E46 M3, 997 GT3 (a tad above $100K), Mazda 3 5-door...just to name a few.

Worst: Aveo, Monte Carlo, Uplander, X3, Scion XB, Element, Aztek, Edge, etc.
