Belt Tension Release Arm

Snap-On YA9350B Is that what I need to release the belt tension on the alternator belt for a 2002 Honda Accord V6? I've tried an open & closed end wrench but to no avail (won't reach inside the tensioner to the bolt).

I checked at AutoZone & O-Reilly but they don't have one with a 14mm socket which is what I believe is required.

I also want made in USA. Any other sources?

Lots of options if you can live with non-USA made, at less than 1/2 the price. Are you a professional mechanic that will use it daily? I apologize for being judgemental, but I would rather spend that kind of money on tools I need more often.

Check out the other ones on their site such as the KD 3680. But, I imagine even KD and Lisle are imports.

Autozone probably loans these out for free.

I am not a professional mechanic so not daily use. Thanks for the Lisle & KD Tools ideas along with the link. I'll see what they have to say re: domestic vs. import.

As I said, AZ doesn't have the tool kit with a 14mm socket.

These Lisle products are made in USA. However, the 57900 is no longer produced.

The gearwrench sounds like a good idea and I really liked the idea of zip tying the wrench in place while you change the belt. I just changed the tensioner on my Saturn and a long handle 14mm worked just fine. I'm not even sure that a breaker bar and socket would have enough room to get to it though.
