Beck & Arnley coolant

I purchased a gallon jug of Beck & Arnley "G-48" coolant (concentrate) back when I maintained multiple Saabs.

Do you think B&A puts their name on good stuff?

I need to service my 2007 Volvo V70 and I know dark blue was used earlier in the run which was 2001-2007.

I do. Had really good experience with B&A motor mounts. They are the only aftermarket mounts that hold up like or better than OEM.

In the past, Beck/Arnley was top notch. Who knows now since Federal-Mogul bought them.

Use to open a Beck/Arnley box, and inside was a factory Toyota part in a Toyota plastic bag with correct label. Not all just saying there were some good cherries to pick.

I e-mailed B&A concerning their coolant. I asked who/where the coolant was manufactured. Response was it'a a trade secret. When companies refuse to give you information, I'm apprehensive to purchase from them. Bought some ASIAN instead....

Their older parts are top notch...

I believe you mean Aisin coolant.

Beck Arnley used to source OEM parts more often than they do now. You can still get some good parts from them but now many are the same white box stuff you can get at AutoZone.

I purchased PCVs from them 3 months ago and they were also in a sealed Hyuindai plastic bag, PCVs were same as originals.

While it miffed you, B&A is not unusual in not giving you their supplier information. The company I work for is the same way. You either accept what they are offering at the stated specs or move on. Our suppliers are not suited for dealing with end users, just the distributors and OEM's they supply in bulk. Also, it affects the supplier/buyer relationship if the buyers know who their supplier's other customers are and potential competitors in the marketplace.

Beck and Arnly is always original / Genuine parts.... Techs in my area always say its a name they can trust when it comes to parts.
