The best show ever to air is once again on...it airs on Sunday nights on NBC...if you've never seen it, competitors design and build robots that try to destroy each other...it's amazing to see the designs these people come up with, and to watch the destruction these things can cause to each other is equally amazing...I don't know why this show ever ended the first time it was on...I'm absolutely pumped the whole time these things are duking it out!

I just hope most of competitors don't start using the wedge type bots...they may be more durable, but they have no offensive weapons therefore they are boring to watch...basically all they can do is flip their opponent...the most fun bots to watch are those with spinning masses...when those things connect they inflict massive amounts of damage...

Any of the bots that can inflict blunt force are the most destructive ones, and they're the most fun to watch...there was a match last night where a wedge type bot, with 2 smaller bots that shot flames attacked a bot with a vertical spinning blade...that blade hit one of those smaller bots and literally shot it across the floor like a bullet into the wall...pieces flying everywhere...it was awesome!

It was a pretty good show, some interesting scraps and some massive damage.
I am surprised they allowed the gas motor in there, or even a massive spinning blade like that. A clean break of half of it would be quite the projectile!
I guess they have some engineer types make sure the right type of metal is used?
I might be tempted to put hinged blades(like a bush hog) on a robot to lessen the shock load of a direct hit, but maybe they want to go for maximum force for one hit.

I believe the fight arena is completely enclosed so I don't think the flying projectiles matter...
