If your battery is going around 5 years then in general your battery is reaching it's end of life. In my book anything after is pushing it. If you can't get a new one at least give it a full re-charge.
IIf you can get an record of when the battery was installed it would be a geat help for you otherwise if NOT don't take chances. There's nothing worse than getting stranded!
When I bought my 08' Impala SS in the 09' year the battery was working so low that during all my driving it was fine until I dron it to the car wash and then the battery fell flat! Had to get it towed to the dealership again. It took a few years of installing a new battery and allot of head scratching to find out why the battery was dieing. All they did was gave it a good re-charge to it's fullest and then all was well afterwards.
