Another question on the John Deere D160 the community uses on the ball diamond. I put the battery away for the winter. It used a large plastic zip tie to hold the battery in place in the tray. What is the correct setup to hold this battery hold down. I had to cut the single use zip tie to remove the battery. Thanks.

Some John Deere mowers use a Velcro strap across the top of the battery.

While others have a ball-end rubber bungee strap across the front of the battery.

You can pull up any John Deere parts catalog on the internet and get diagrams and part numbers for just about anything you need.

No. 11 in this diagram appears to be your tie band that holds the battery in place. The part number is listed as M73027 and in the USA they cost around $6. Some are listed as being only a $.99 zip tie. I'm sure you can find the exact same information in Canada with prices adjusted to reflect the economy.
