Anyone know who makes the filters for the banks ram air kits, are they any good or just over priced gimmicks?

Banks doesn’t make nor sell junk. They’re legit.
I have a full Banks kit on my motor home Coach House with the 6.8 Ford V10. On our trip home we had a tail wind and got 14.5 calculated MPG. That's not bad for a 27 foot model. It has long single tube headers and a small water heater sized muffler. Has a programmed flash sticker under the hood. Banks seems reputable to me.
The Banks cold air intake on my 2011 LML Duramax looks like a K&N filter.
There’s a guy in Alaska that changed his stock 6.7 Cummins air intake over to the Banks air intake filter and showed zero increase in fuel efficiency or HP and if the BA filter Banks has made for them by K&N is anything like the K&N filter tested on project farm no thanks it will let in way to much particulate. I will stick with stock and use a Wix filter.
