Bad week

Get bad medical need, have 2 mris done. One of them required contrast in me. Wake up next morning my head is just spinning and im throwing up so i call out of work. Then i get call yesterday for no work (for today) due to hurricane. No biggie I'm getting paid + 5 day weekend. Got 2 hours of sleep last night due to the hurricane/tornado noise. Wake up to get some coffee and power went out so coffee didnt even brew so i had to wait.. Then after i get it i decide ill go for a drive around neighborhood and look for damage. Turn kia on and tire light is on. Get out and both my rear tires flat. All the way. I couldnt see a visible puncture (hasnt stopped raining today) so tomo morning ill air them up (or try) and go to local tire shop not even 5 mins away. Just gonna opt for cheapest ones, which they only carry big names and 235-60-18 arent the cheapest so there goes my overtime from last month.

Discount Tire have free flat repair. Maybe try them first. Plus great promos going until the 6th of this month. It could be worse, my 72 yr old dad is not doing well at all. Doesn't have much longer to live.

Not only that, but America's Tire (DT in my neck of the woods) has store credit interest free for 6-plus months, to help with those tire purchases---and often, a rebate if you use the store credit. Major thumbs up. I've used store credit to finance my tire purchases there for several years now, as long as you pay it off by the end of the promotion period it is a very easy way to get tires on your cars.

EDIT: rebates might only be for purchase of 4, but you can still use their credit for 6 mos interest free.

Dont have a dt or at here. Small town. We have a tires plus and firstone but a good 30 mins from me. Local shop ive been using for years is 3 miles away. Thanks for the suggestions though. They offer good enough prices that i dont mind buying local for a few $ more

Bummer....you're getting hammered from many fronts. "When it rains, it pours".

One of those small inverter power packs would do you well. I keep one plugged in 24/7 just in case. It'll make coffee, power a small fan + a light for several hours. I can recharge it in the car while doing errands if necessary.

If money is tight, you can buy a plug kit to save on buying new ones for now.
