Bad Screen 2019 Lexus ES350?

This is happening every now and then. Most of the screen goes black except the top inch or so. I have appt at Lexus but just curious if any
of you know the issue. I have a couple of pics for you. This is my wife's car and I rarely drive it. She says it has been doing it the last month.

It’s too general of a question. It’s like saying I see oil spots on my driveway, where is it coming from?

I’d be curious to know, hope you get some answers from the dealer visit.

I will say on Toyota they are known for head unit issues. Probably same for Lexus too. Usually time for a new head unit if there is no update available or anything.

^^^ this. I’ve heard the same, and my FIL experienced as well. Lexus swapped the whole unit out for him no questions asked.

The Sync3 in my F150 had moments where it was quirky as well. Sync3 was known to fail after a few years as well.

The unit in my 24 Tacoma forgets my iPhone and frequently, sometimes multiple times per day, requires a Bluetooth resync.

I’d say they are the same. In your experience, do that start out doing this off and on? Seems like it is happening about about once every 2 weeks. She did say it normally goes totally black.

Yes normally intermittent then it goes out fully.

Good thing there are aftermarket replacements.
