I always found this plane fascinating, but this is far beyond that...

In 1950 in British Columbia a B36 crashed with 4 nuclear bombs that were lost...This was Americas first Broken Arrow...

I saw this on The History Guy a couple of weeks ago.
History Guy is great. I've learned a lot of things watching his stuff.
He did a great video on the history of stainless steel.

I was a B-52 Bomb/Nav Avionics guy after the B-58s were scrapped. An older transfer had worked on them and said that they were built like the 100 series of fighters with a stiff airframe, but were too large/heavy to handle the loads. Cracks developed that were deemed as not able to be fixed.
