AutoX in the rain

I have my tire pressures dialed in pretty good for dry conditions, but tomorrow looks very wet, with lower temps. I normally run 29 front, and 30 rear on my C5. What does BITOG say - higher or lower?

I will most likely stay the same, as lower seems to make it unresponsive and wishy washy...but it might gain more grip?

The biggest thing that I've heard when I raced in the SCCA years ago was to leave the rebound setting alone but soften the bump setting if racing in the rain. If you go too high on rear psi the car can get tail happy.

DriveHard, what tires you got? Higher pressures usually help with wet courses so the tire can pump the water. Since its raining, I would just have fun and not worry about time.

reduced grip is a given, no matter what you do. So I'd focus on correcting the balance if you find yourself correcting over/understeer

Go a little higher because it's only going to get colder.

Kept pressures at my normal levels...measured in my temp controlled garage, so when I got out, it was lower due to the lower temps. I think I made a good choice - the car performed better than expected in the heavy rains we got. Comparing myself to other racers I have been running with the last couple of years, I did better than normal. Certainly helps to sharpen those wet weather skills!
