I took a couple of the grandkids up to the playground at the school and there was a guy there cutting the schoolyards . Completely hands off . This thing has GPS , LIDAR , cameras , you name it . I talked to the guy that was running them . The technology is awesome . So is the price . About $60k a pop .

I remember when the commercial grade electric, zero turns were cheap a few years later triple the price....

This is a Gravely mower with a Kawasaki gas burner , and about 50k in electronics mounted on it . NOT intended for residential use obviously . Those big wide open schoolyards are just right for this thing .

Yes I noticed it was a gasser...
It's cool but I wouldn't buy anything like that... I have several ZT mowers from $11k to $15k and even being older I'll drive them myself

Lawnmower Man is real!! 😬
We've reached a new level... at a price. ha!!
I'll just go steal @Zee09 Spartan before I go that route. :p
Cool to look at though!

What's the point if he's supervising it?
He wasn't standing there watching the whole time . There was a playground full of kids less than a hundred yards away so he had to keep an eye on things . Then there are people like me that want to go look and ask questions ..

A coworker left to work for a company that was developing something similar, to be used at golf courses and other large estates. That was around 2004.
