I know transmission fluid is analyzed for hevi-duty construciton equipment just as engine oil is analyzed. I just sent off an engine oil sample to Blackstone Labs and saw they list transmisison fluid analysis on their web site. Do many people do this for automotive transmissions? Is the scarcity of used ATF reports indicative of their perceived usefullness?
