I'll stick with my tried and true perferred method, taking a milk jug, marking 1 2, 3, 4 qt values on the side and pumping out usually 2qts at a time. Start the car, pump out 2, replace 2. Continue until capacity is reached or fluid lightens in color.
I'd never run it until the fluid quits flowing. Not that much more time to do it 2 at a time, and nothing to worry about. Just did it to a Dakota with 48k on the ATF that I just bought. Easy as pie.
