Auto-RX question - MoS2

Hey guys and Frank.

I bought a bottle of Auto RX for one of my friends to use, he is 1000kms into the clean phase.
He said he just put in some product that has moly or MoS2 in it.

I reminded him about the Auto RX that is currently in the crankcase.
-My question is should he dump the oil and auto rx because of the extra moly in the engine ? Or is it safe to leave in until 5k?

Don't dump it, but your friend sounds like one of those, "if a little is good then more is better." guys.

I believe if any other additives are used, the OCI has to be increased. Frank would be the best person to tell you by how much.

The more "additive" you have in there, the more the motor oil is dilueted. Choose one or the other!!!! I would have left the Autorx do what it does.
