I was just saying that it was the first I had ever seen, so I have almost no clue what I'm looking at. I'll give Terry a call tomorrow and buy an expert interpretation, but it seems to me, that what was considered conservative by most Impala owners, is actually stretching the enevlope too much.

I am now running Havoline ATF, and will have an analysis done at 10k.

I see there is another thread on this now.

I had thought that Pennzoil ATF, being a Group II/II+, would stand up better than this. Is this just the nature of Dex-III, or more a result of the Pennzoil ATF in specific?

Looks like the side-note of getting #204S will be much more likely..

ferb!

I think that no off the shelf conventional is up to the task of this transmission. I'm switching to 204S on Terry's suggestion.
