Nearly 1000k's into my engine flush stage on 200,000km V6 Ecotec 3.8litre. Ran the clean mode for slightly over the advised period. Even a few thousand k's into the clean mode i already felt a noted difference in the car, with smoother running, acceleration etc. Oil i was using was Mobil 2000 20W50 Mineral oil, same i am using now for the flush.

I just flushed and changed most fluid on my power steering, renewed hoses as well. When i started draining the reservoir i could see small crusty bits of gunk at the bottom. The fluid was darkened in the time i added the auto-rx even though it was dark before, i had never changed the fluid in the pump for the whole 200,000k's. The improvement i got in the steering was even prior to changing the fluid. I used to have a clicking noise when turning left, it was like a metallic clicking noise. I thought it was suspension related possibly still is but it certainly went away after a few hundred k's on the Rx. It has been doing it for a year or so, but now its pretty much gone, i try to make it come back but it doesnt....now that i have flushed it out, the steering is definately improved, with the steering not as loose(soft and spongy). Fantastic improvement. I will drain the fluid again in a few hundred k's to get it all out.

Glad it has worked well for you, and even though I haven't used it myself, I have heard it's good stuff

yeah it strange if it has fixed the clicking that i had, must have had some gunk/crust in the system somewhere, around the pump somewhere etc. Like i said it fixed it while i had the auto-rx in the old fluid, which leads me to believe the Auto-RX helped it. Cant wait till i finish the engine flush....still a few thousand k's to go. Nothing to loose, just a few dollars to get it to Oz, using it to hopefully prolong the parts. Will use the the transmission next...

I started using ARX a few months or so ago. It fixed the tranny shifting prob in the wife's honda civic and the engine in her car runs smoother now after the second clean/rinse phases. ARX is good stuff.

Love it in the power steering. Have used it in the transmission, engine, and power steering so far. It's been noticeable in the difference it makes.

The steering doesn't feel as dead anymore, and noise has definitely gone down.

Question for you guys who used it in the PS unit. Did you do a system flush, or can you pump the fluid out a few times and just add fresh fluid after the initial clean is done. I've always pumped out PS fluid not to tempt fate. I realize there is no rinse cycle, I just don't want to disconnect PS hoses to drain/flush it out. If it can be pumped out, how many times do you do it?

Power Steering

Auto-Rx ratio is 1 ounce per quart of power steering fluid.
Drive for 1,000 miles and drain. Refill the power steering system according to your vehicle manufacturer's recommendation.

Use a turkey baster, There is no need for a flush.

My cars use ATF in the steering, so suck-out/refill/drive and do it again and again until a quart of syn ATF has been used up works well.
