Auto-rx in car w/o droppable pan?

Hello all,
I have a '08 Saturn Astra, from what I have seen it does not look like an oil pan is removable. It does have the transmission drain bolt and such but no removable pan.
From my understanding auto-rx will liquify the junk and it could settle in the pan, I wanted to remove it if possible to clean anything that remains.
I plan on disconnecting the transmission cooler lines and doing that style of flush. I plan on running auto-rx since it's a used car with 64K.

Yea I don't think I'd bother with Auto RX in the trans... its more for sludge and gunked up engines. You won't really have that kinda stuff in the trans. do several drain and fills with a good quality fluid and you'll be good to go!

+1 a slow multiple drain atf flush is what you want.

Is this car new to you? Any maintenance history? How does it look down the oil filler car if you can see in there?
At this mileage you shouldn't need to run any sort of additive, i would just run a PU, PP or Mobil 1, it will clean up nicely with no problems.

Invest the money you would have spent on that additive and put a better oil in the car, you will get more bang for the buck. Guaranteed.

I would add a Magnefine inline filter to catch any crud loosened. Auto-Rx will definitely not hurt. It might help. Synthetic ATF is your best cleaner.

Thats pretty low mileage I wouldn't worry about it. Just change the fluid now and every 30k after and forget about it.
+1 on the synthetic atf

Skip the A-Rx. Do two or three drain and refills of the transmission over a period of a hundred miles or so. Then change the fluid every 30K miles.

Your right my mistake. I read it of the sidebar and missed it.
Same advice just without the fill hole and engine oils. Change the fluids and forget any additive.

Very good in any auto trans. Full flush after including converter. If you're not going to do a full flush then forget the Rx
