Well, I gotta say, Auto Rx worked miracles on our Volvo 850 turbo. During the first cycle, it was obvious that the car was running better and MPG jumped up by an average of 3 or 4. But still had lots of oil consumption with Havoline 10w30 conventional.
During the 2nd cleaning phase, consumption was still severe at about 1 quart per thousand miles.
I got worried during the 2nd rinse phase when after the first thousand miles, I had to add 3/4 of a quart. I thought maybe the main seal was torn. As a last ditch idea, I thought that maybe the little bit of Auto Rx that was left over from the cleaning phase was keeping the rinse phase from being as effective as possible. I dumped the cleaning phase oil after 1000 miles and filled it up again with dino. Miraculously, I have not detected any consumption at all for the last 1000 miles. So I went from 1.5 quarter per 1000 miles before Auto Rx to undetectable consumption after the 2nd rinse phase (I basically did two rinse phases because I changed the oil during the middle of the second rinse phase). Pretty impressive stuff!
