Auto-RX available in OZ ?

I would dearly like to give the engine in the wifes Nissan Patrol 4.2l Turbo Diesel an oil flush before I start using D 1.

It has been using Fuchs Titan Universal HD 15w40 CF-4 oil to conform to warranty requirements thus far.

I feel the options are;

1. Flush with a good cleaner/detergent. (Wynns OK if Auto-RX not available ?)
2. use D1 as a cleaner/detergent (expensive option)
3. Use a good CI-4 conventional oil like Castrol RX-Super, then D1. (this would be half the cost of using D1 as a cleaner)

Any thoughts?
