The following tests were done to compare pre-Auto-RX, during-Auto-RX, and post-Auto-RX. Unfortunately, it appears there's no difference??? I'm quite surprised.

MOBIL DELVAC 1300 - 15W-40 - 1500 miles each test
DODGE AVENGER = 61200, 62700, 64200 miles
Test #1 = Normal oil.
Test #2 = Oil + Auto-RX additive
Test #3 = Normal oil (after Auto-RX cleansing)

"No corrective action required. Oil is suitable for continued use. Resample at next regular interval." - Oil Analyzers Inc.

Maybe this is a testament to the quality of the oil or it could be the "perfect" combination of oil, engine and operational parameters. Couldn't ask for any better wear numbers, even for the pre-Rx 1,500 mile interval. Probably see a bit higher wear numbers with a longer OCI, but if they are equally as good as these you should have nothing to worry about. Have you been using Delvac 1300 for the life of the engine? With 10,000 mile intervals? (Wow! Have you done a UOA after one of these long OCI's?) Mostly highway driving? I don't think I would even fool with another Rx treatment with these results.

Well this is such a short run that I'm not sure you can say much except all of these analysis look good. What interval were you planning on running next time?? And perhaps a longer run with the AutoRx would have geen good. Perhaps someone here has some thoughts.

Perhaps you should email AutoRx with this question

I have no idea. What are (in)solubles?

The Avenger ran natural PennZoil for the first 40,000 miles at 3000 mile intervals, and then I switched to Mobil Delvac 1 at 10,000 mile intervals.

I can run 10,000 miles because I drive nothing but highway. In fact, most modern cars are running 10,000 mile intervals (5000 severe service)

"12.9 12.7 Cst @100C "

This number surprises me as I was just reading the Mobil spec for Delvac 1300 15w-40 and it showed 15.+ Cst @100C. Seems like a large difference but all of your analysis show the upper 12's. Nevertheless, I'm happy to see your numbers as I was thinking I'd be giving up some gas mileage using the 15 Cst products.

Do you mean ARX did no harm?
