Good Morning BOTOGERS. Filter off a 23’ Ford F-150 with 3.5 v-6 engine at work. About 8k on this and Safety Kleen 5w30 Synthetic oil.

In: PROTEC 57045 and same oil. 32k on truck.

Don’t know if that was glue or not. Kinda felt rubbery and it was long piece.

It's getting a bit "friendly", and also popped a cap. Does look like a big chunk of glue. Looks Purolator built.

Yeah, I went to pull element out of can and endcap came right off

Filter did just fine for the 8k in that F-150. I guess once they get a bit of heat endcap doesn't want to stick to the glue. The end caps should stay in place while installed though.

Nah, Purolator jobbers: quality plain and simple. Why now for ke Donaldson or OG ULTRAS I have.
