This filter and Safety Jleen “eco ultra” 0w20 was in and on and 2018 Toyota Corolla at work. Pretty ugly and one tear. Put another one of these and Safety Kleen “eco ultra 0w20 in and on. 38,xxx on car

Miles on oil and filter was 5,101

Louvers don't look that great (somewhat choked IMO), and it has a combo valve ... might have contributed to the torn media.

Of course, the wide pleat spacing is the main cause.

Ugh, pleat spacing is ugly. And this on one of the smallest application OFs. And a Wix style combo valve. Hope the one that went back on significantly better than this one. This one obviously a fail. This one AE jobber OF best avoided imo.

As for louvers, I've seen better in pics. However ime camera angle (combined with small filter) can be deceiving. Light down center tube be more definitive.

I put a older date code one back on. Made July 2019 so we shall see. It had holes in center tube also
