The penalty, under Indonesian law, *does* fit the crime.


I actually support the death penalty for drug trafficking and
dealing, however it appears that the Indonesians are only applying the laws to select individuals, which is not justice.

Exactly. It's just a token thing so the government can appear to be outraged over the executions. Truth is, they're never going risk a healthy trading relationship with Indonesia, and nor should they.

So "loving the death penalty" is executing an average of 15 people out of 2400 murders each year??? thats one execution for every 160 murders. Here is a thought. Don't murder anyone when you are in Texas.

You have some very radical views. I think you'd be more comfortable in a strict autocratic environment.

All I know is I don't feel comfortable in other countries even the first world ones. I've travelled Europe and felt intimidated in Germany, Netherlands and France. England was much better but it still is not relaxing. Forget Mexico, I won't go back. The beaches may be a little nicer but its not worth it. My wife says Italy is not safe for women.

Canada is the only place that feels just like home.

If I'm insulting the rest of the world so be it. They have no problem criticizing us and getting their nose in our business.

"Justice" is a bigger joke in most third world countries than it is here.

Their worst crime was not paying off the right people...no more, no less.
