Attaching plastic trim

A few months back the fender flare flew off my car on the highway. So I bought a new one and I'll be picking it up from the paint shop today.

The original was stuck on the car with a double sided adhesive. Over time apparently it had become oxidized and lost its adhesive properties.

I want to avoid a similar situation with the new one and will be using Liquid Nails instead for a permanent and yet flexible bond. I will not be using double sided tape. The car is dark metallic grey color. The alternatives I was thinking were:
-- Liquid Nails which is what I have set my mind to
-- Clear outdoor silicone
-- Black RTV sealant
-- Windshield gasket sealant

I have a plastic trim piece on my '18 Buick TourX that had popped up in one corner. One of those things probably nobody would notice but me, but it was driving me crazy. No amount of trying to stuff some double sided tape underneath would hold it, so I took it completely off, will probably have to take a heat gun to the plastic to reform it a bit so the corner is not naturally trying to pull up.

The original adhesive was some foam backed stuff that is super sticky. What do the pros use for attaching these? Looking something that I can put on once and no longer have to worry about it.

A piece of trim fell off my car and it looks like the OEM uses some type of hard epoxy (like superglue?) in 4 spots.

Will a bead of Ultra Copper RTV do the trick? Should I use JB Weld instead?

Short story: Daughters 2000 Chevy Silverado extended cab was hit in parking lot, on drivers side door. The strip of trim thats about 3" wide that runs the length of the door has been peeled loose for about the last 8" or so. The rest of it remains firmly attached.

What is the best adhesive to use to reattach this loose end? I want it very firmly reattached so it will survive car washings, etc. Thanks for your advice.

My Sienna keeps having the door strip fall off. There's an adhesive already but it's not cured... it's almost like a thick grease. I don't know if this is OEM adhesive or something somebody else tried, but either way it's going to be a problem for getting it reattached. I'm thinking I need to clean as much of the old glue as I can, then apply new glue but it will have to be compatible. Does anyone know if there's a special Toyota adhesive for this?

My go-to glue for odd things that I don't think I'll ever need to remove is 3M 5200 Quick Cure. Prep is key and slow cure, but one heck of a bond.
