ATF mixing question

I have a question that has been bothering me. Ok, I did a full mechanical exchange of synthetic aft with BG system on my car back at 174k with Mobil 1 Mercon V and I'm quite happy so far. I wanted a fluid that would be more sheer stable. At 205k, I plan on doing a drain and fill (of course changing the filter) from that point forward.

Is it ok to mix Valvoline Maxlife Dex/Mer aft with the Mobil 1 synthetic atf? I will probably just buy 4 qts of the Mobil 1 sny atf and go from there, but I just wanted to know if that is possible?

I'm very anal about my car, because just doing the drain & fill method only changes out 4qts and my transmission capacity is 11qts. That means most of the old nasty fluid will still be in there. I will probably do another mechanical exchange at 205k.

Why not do a cooling system flush (which you can do yourself) when it is time. Keep on using Mobil 1. While you could mix, why would you. Install a Magnefine filter and go longer on your ATF intervals.

Yeah, as far as coolant, that will be done around that time. I figured that I will keep on using Mobil 1. So it can mix perfectly. I just plan on doing the drop pan & filter so I can change the transmission filter. I try to change the filter every other OCI. Thanks for the reply.
