ASUS Chromebox

I've challenged myself to use nothing but the Chromebook at home for the last week. It's worked quite well. Google Docs reads (and will edit) our .docx and .xlsx files previously created in Word and Excel. I took pictures of my older laptop and desktop to post to Craigslist last night. I took pictures, emailed them to myself from my phone, then got on the Chromebook (hooked to a very nice 24" ASUS monitor) and resized them using Pixlr and saved them to my Drive. I logged-in to Craigslist and it let me choose the files straight from my Drive account and post them to my ad. It was quite easy...and very much the same process as getting on our Windows computer and managing and uploading photos.

Chrome OS seems like a viable option for me. I'll never get my wife away from the Windows environment with which she's most comfortable, but for the things I do, I can live entirely within Chrome/OS.
