I hate to put two sponsers against each other, but I guess it is good that they are indeed both sponsers that I am looking at purchasing from.

My car is a 2.0L DOHC 4cyl with 180k miles. Mobil 1 10w30 been run the last 100k miles with no consumption or leakage. OCI was 3k and now is 5-6k for last year or so (after BITOG and UOA).

My question is given I would only use one option, would an application of ARX be more beneficial than using LC and FP. Either or, not ARX then LC/FP. (even though that is what I know you guys will think and recommend)

Either way I would most likely extend my OCI to 7500 miles to capture the increase in maintenance costs with either option. My MPG already averages the EPA highway rating, but would be nice if I could get a boost from one of the products. Will likely run this engine to 250k miles or more.

There is a 3 page disertation on this subject that is still open:

Auto-Rx or LC

Then if that does not 1000% answer your question, do a search in this forum. If you are still not satisfied, flip a coin.
