Hello,
At 1000 miles on fresh Conventional oil I put 2-oz of ARX into the engine. 500 miles later the oil had a nice Amber color ... Kinda normal for this engine anyways. I added the rest of the ARX bottle to the engine oil to start my full ARX cleaning and a new oil filter. 200 miles later the oil now has a deep brown color! So it would seem that ARX cleans! However I never expected it to clean so fast ~~~ so maybe I'm a bit worrid that the oil filter will not hold out. I'm not so 'know how' with ARX and don't know if this normal or not. Should I continue with the ARX like the ARX web-site states or would I need to change the oil sooner?
The engine in "?" is a 4.3L Chevy V6 with 115,000 miles ~~~ So far after adding the full bottle I find my self driving way to fast ... Guess it freed up some rings and or added some compression already? Yah the engine was fast before but now it's even better.
