Arkon Smartphone Mount

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting a mount for my Droid X for a trip I'm going to go on to use it for GPS. I also have an Otterbox Defender Case on my Droid X.

I was thinking of getting the Arkon Mega Grip. It looks like it should fit my Droid in the case.

I can get it here at Amazon for $14.47.

Does anyone else have this mount in their vehicle? Do you recommend it?
Or does anyone else know of a smaller mount like this one that would fit my phone that they recommend?

I will be using it in my 2009 CR-V.

I used to have one of those Arkon mounts for my old Nokia phone. Mine would vibrate when attached to the windshield. Not a ton, but annoying nonetheless. So I had to prop it against the dashboard to limit its movements. Not the best solution, but it seems most of these mounts are designed similarly.

Just make sure the sides of the cradle don't obstruct the power/usb port.
