Are there muscles in the pinky finger?

I think not as well. You can't articulate just one digit on your finger. Well, I can ..but only by pulling the "straightening" action in opposition to it. That is, you can't do "last digit cures" naturally ..the finger curls as a unit..as does the base digit and the palm (folding) I'd say that it's one continuous tendon type growth that attaches to muscles in the hand.

Naturally I could be FOS too

I have the privilage of Interning with an Emergency Room MD once a week.

After a brief sit down and book search with him here is what we got:

extensor digitorum

extensor indicis

extensor digiti minimi

I am sure if you go online or to the library you can dig up more on hand anatomy.

As on professor told me millions of years of nature has created the fantastic human hand and foot anatomy.

Certain primates hand anatomy is almost identical too.
