Oil....came loaded so no worries for a couple years. The oe AR oil which I would prefer to use has stupid shipping associated with it, I have 30wt ND oil on hand for compressor duty ($10/L) or BE washer oil ($22/L) is this just an upsell on the same stuff or is there some snake oil in there somewhere....coming from a guy who DOES do regular service.

@dfarr67 , oil specs are here : https://arnorthamerica.com/pdfs/manuals/RC_RCS_RCA_RCV_Manual_2023.pdf page 16.

I am looking at the same pump on Amazon to replace a RMV 2.5G30 Can't find an mounting diagram for the AR RCVU3G27D
, wondering what the distance is between the mounting bolts ?

Talked to the seller today- they quit making gas washers and liquidated these pump says they retail for 4-500usd normally.

Ok I was wondering why that was listed at $159 CAD that's under the cost of the generic clones. I ordered one yesterday gambled that its going to fit on my Costco , Husqvarna 3200 . The entry level AR pump on that unit leaked from day one and main shaft seal is impossible to replace.

Even after removing the circle clip the seal would come out.

I know the higher-end AR pumps are of much better quality. I have a AR one on an electric pressure washer that resembles the Amazon one. It's easy to fully strip down and clean.

I talked to the venders 'engineer' yesterday- these are made in Taiwan and are of great quality- I think in this particular deal I found a gem, not to often that happens. Said it is designed with a .030 oriface in mind. I found a couple of deals on used units- but they had the electric flange on them- I don't know enough about them that these can be just swapped and/or the cost of said flange.

Back to your oil graph. I think 75-90 gear oil would suffice. The AR oil available to so far is $40 bottle (not 1L) plus $40 shipping which is insulting.

They were going to produce a gasoline version pump- my guess would be more than a few pallet loads, as evidenced with the non oem packaging. Contact them through Amazon- they will reply.

Good deal on the oil- Amazon was $40 + 40 shipping.

So was this a bolt and go deal for you, I'm having problems getting pressure set. I am unfamiliar with washers in general. Engine is a Mits 6.0hp and runs well, loading up when trigger pulled but not working real hard in my opinion pressure achieved is only 1500psi before running out of adjustment- I'm working with their tech guy, he says they are set very low from factory. Can you post a vid of gauge behvoir trigger on and off.

The issue was with the unloader factory calibration, pump was only putting out 1500psi, company tech corresponded throught texts and jpegs with him contacting me via phone and walking through tearing into the unloader- but it was worth it he has things sorted with the pump on a 6hp Mits putting out 2600psi. I seem to get the 'weird' problems.

I have not tried the pump yet, its been raining here for the past 3 weeks.

Update, I tired this morning, With a small leak in my fittings the max psi I get is around 2500 psi. the unloader will bring give about 400 psi of downward adjustment. So yes it seems this is tuned for an electric pressure washer. My engine is a 208 cc.

Given the unloader if part of the pump head how did you make adjustments ? (Other than with black plastic knob)

- his concern was more for the off trigger going more than around 3400psi. With an initial test mine went to 3000 on trigger 5000 off trigger (for a very short test)
- the pumps were meant to go on 3-7hp so the factory gave it a very low setting.
One thing you can try is take the loosen the locking cap (allen key) and turn the black knob 1/2 turn ccw and relock, this gives you more headroom to tighten up the pressure.
